Acoustic insulation supplied in panels and produced using fibres and granules of SBR (Stirene Butadiene Rubber) and EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) compacted using a polyirethane adhesive in a hot process. A non-woven, non-stretch synthetic membrane is applied on both sides for added protection.

The Mustwall products are designed for high noise insulation performance of walls.
Mustwall line M is a range of panels created in high-density SBR rubber granules for wall cavities applications.
Mustwall line M AD a range of panels created in high-density SBR rubber granules and fibers with high elastic properties, ideal for lining walls or plasterboards applications.

These products are designed to help reduce the amount of Airbourne and Impact Sound Transfer between rooms or dwellings, once all manufacturers guidelines have been met regards proper INSTALLATION PRACTICE on behalf of the CONTRACTOR or REGISTERED INSTALLER.

As retro-fitting these materials can prove expensive and disruptive to the occupier, consideration to Airbourne and Impact Sound Transfer must be addressed at design stage.

Any New Domestic Dwelling with a commencement notice served to the Local Authority on or after 1st July 2015, is now governed by a MANDATORY requirement to have a SOUND INSULATION TEST carried out.
All criteria can be found within The Building Regulations TGD-E-Sound.

For example, Sound Testing a separating WALL between one Domestic Dwelling and another will require an Airbourne Sound Insulation Test only.
While Sound Testing a separating FLOOR between one Domestic Dwelling and another will require both an Airbourne and Impact Sound Insulation Test.
